2027 Technology Summer Internship - Early Careers (Cybersecurity)

About the role

Join Wells Fargo’s 10-week 2027 Technology Internship Program as a Cybersecurity Engineering Intern. Support security solution design, testing, documentation, maintenance, and issue resolution across cloud, networking, authentication, applications, and endpoint technologies. The program combines hands-on assignments, technical training, group projects, coaching, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, test, maintain, and recommend issue resolutions for cybersecurity solutions.
• Support security projects involving data access, integrity, confidentiality, and business continuity.
• Review existing security issues and procedures; support testing, emergencies, installations, and conversions.
• Work with technologies including Python, Java, SQL, .NET, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR.

Program Experience

• Complete a 10-week orientation and training program covering Wells Fargo Technology groups.
• Gain hands-on experience through relevant work assignments, real-world training, and group projects.
• Develop communication skills through learning sessions, coaching, professional development, and networking.
• Qualified interns may be considered for the following year’s full-time Technology Analyst Program.

Work Arrangement

• Work onsite in a hybrid schedule in Charlotte, North Carolina, or the Phoenix market area.
• Phoenix market locations include Chandler and Phoenix; placement depends on business needs.
• Full-time Technology Analyst Program location placement aligns with the internship location.
• The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and requires passing a technology skills assessment.
