About the role

Wells Fargo's 2027 Finance Summer Internship offers a 10-week program providing undergraduate students with finance experience, professional development, and exposure to various finance disciplines across multiple business lines.

Program Overview

• 10-week internship from June to August 2027, locations include Charlotte, Irving, and Minneapolis.
• Provides a high-level understanding of Wells Fargo's operations, business strategies, and culture.
• Includes relationship building, work assignments, coaching, feedback, group projects, and learning sessions.
• Participants placed in finance groups based on location, degree, interest, and business needs.
• Supports career preparation with a blend of business and professional development training.
• Exposure to multiple finance disciplines and business lines.

Responsibilities

• Support various finance disciplines aligned with Wells Fargo's financial management activities.
• Engage in formal training through onboarding and orientation.
• Receive coaching and networking opportunities for professional growth.
• Participate in finance-related responsibilities across business lines.
• Contribute to financial planning, analysis, accounting, treasury, and tax management.
• Assist with investment portfolios, regulatory interactions, and investor communications.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of work experience or equivalent through work, training, military, or education.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with graduation between Dec 2027 and June 2028.
• Preferred majors: Finance, Accounting, Business Data & Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, or Business Administration.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Basic proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, or other analytics tools.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools and responsible usage interest.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranges: Charlotte and Irving $33.66; Minneapolis $37.02.
