About the role

Wells Fargo's 2027 Commercial Banking Summer Internship is a 10-week program offering undergraduates hands-on experience in commercial banking, professional development, and networking across multiple U.S. locations.

Program Overview

• 10-week structured internship from June to August 2027 (dates TBD).
• Gain exposure to commercial banking operations, strategies, and culture.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and networking during Induction Week.
• Work on real business tasks with experienced teams.
• Receive coaching and professional support throughout the internship.
• Attend virtual speaker series and organized networking activities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in formal internship activities, workshops, and initiatives.
• Complete assignments related to policies and procedures for low-to-medium complexity tasks.
• Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs.
• Support relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters.
• Exercise independent judgment under manager direction.
• Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

Requirements

• 6+ months of work experience or equivalent through work, training, military, or education.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Involvement in extracurricular activities such as volunteerism or leadership roles.
• Energetic self-starter with curiosity and interest in learning.
• Knowledge or interest in finance, accounting, and sales.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools and responsible usage.

• Hourly pay ranges from $36.06 to $43.27 depending on location.
