Role Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and improve high-performance algorithmic trading strategies
- Transform large data sets into usable trading models
- Collaborate with quants and software engineers to enhance trading strategies
- Become expert in Virtu's trading technology and market interaction
- Apply quantitative analysis to improve trading algorithms

Candidate Requirements
- Excellent academic background in any subject
- Outstanding quantitative problem-solving and math skills
- Some programming experience required (Python, SQL, Java, C++ a plus)
- Self-starter who identifies issues and creates solutions independently
- Highly motivated, tenacious, able to work independently and in teams
