About the role
UBS’s 10-week Group Internal Consulting AI Engineering Summer Internship offers students practical experience applying artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics to business transformation. Interns collaborate with consultants, data scientists and technology teams, contributing to innovative solutions, research, stakeholder communications and projects across a global financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Support Group Internal Consulting projects focused on artificial intelligence, Agentic AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Conduct research, analyse data and contribute insights supporting client engagements and business transformation projects.
- Assist with developing, testing and documenting innovative technology solutions addressing business challenges.
- Collaborate with consultants, data scientists and technology teams across UBS.
- Contribute to presentations, workshops and stakeholder communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance client experiences and create business value through technology.
Team and Exposure
- Join UBS’s Group Internal Consulting unit within the Group Chief Operating Office.
- Work alongside more than 500 colleagues across five global regions and multiple UBS divisions.
- Gain exposure to consulting methodologies, project delivery, strategy, operating models, digital innovation, data and analytics.
Development
- Build practical skills through meaningful project work, training and collaboration with experienced professionals.
- Develop professional networks and gain insight into consulting and financial services.
- Explore artificial intelligence, Agentic AI, machine learning and other emerging technologies.
