About the role
Join UBS's 2027 Summer Internship in Global Markets, London, to gain hands-on experience in equities, currencies, and interest rates trading. Develop skills in market analysis, client advisory, and trading strategies over a 10-week paid program.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist clients in buying and selling equities, foreign currencies, and interest rates.
- Extract and analyze market-moving data to support trading decisions.
- Provide clients with market trend information and competitive trade pricing.
- Promote trading products based on client needs and investment styles.
Team Environment
- Work within UBS's Global Markets business covering securities trading end-to-end.
- Collaborate with hedge funds, pension funds, asset managers, and family offices.
- Engage in advisory, capital markets, and financing services.
Candidate Requirements
- Penultimate or final year bachelor’s or master’s student.
- On track for a 2.1 UK degree or equivalent.
- Hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative values.
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work under high demands and tight deadlines.
- Interest in financial industry and responsible AI use.
