About the role
A 10-week paid London internship in Global Banking’s Private Funds Group. Interns support mandate origination, execution, distribution and marketing across primary fundraising, liquidity and strategic solutions, and real estate. The role offers client exposure, mentoring and industry training, with potential consideration for the Graduate Talent Program after successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Support mandate origination and execution, plus distribution and general marketing across the business verticals.
- Contribute to pitch presentations and develop understanding of market trends and participants.
- Work with GP clients throughout primary fundraisings, from preparation through final closing.
- Assist with fund restructuring and institutional investors seeking to liquidate or monetise holdings.
- Gain exposure to real estate fundraising, advisory, restructuring and recapitalisation assignments.
Team and Exposure
- Work in the London-based Global Banking Private Funds Group business.
- Build knowledge of primary and secondary fundraising markets and the real estate sector.
- Support advice to clients on primary capital raises and secondary market solutions.
Program and Development
- Complete a 10-week paid internship working with industry, client and firm experts.
- Participate in day-to-day operations while learning from colleagues across the business.
- Receive mentoring and opportunities to connect with senior team members.
- Develop new skills and professional contacts throughout the internship.
- Successful interns may receive an offer for the Graduate Talent Program after completing their studies.
Requirements
- Be in the penultimate or final year of study.
- Be on track for a 2.1 or equivalent in the first undergraduate or bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrate how experimental and responsible AI use can improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Show strategic thinking, strong communication, curiosity and interest in the financial industry.
