About the role

Join UBS's 2027 Summer Internship in Group Internal Audit to explore risk assessment, controls evaluation, and gain a comprehensive view of a global bank's operations over 10 weeks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Investigate complex challenges and uncover emerging risks across UBS.
• Assess risks using data, technology, and critical thinking.
• Evaluate effectiveness of controls and challenge assumptions.
• Support firm’s strategic goals by preventing errors and protecting clients.
• Learn from experienced colleagues and gain unique insights.
• Contribute to UBS’s resilience and preparedness.

Team and Environment

• Part of Group Internal Audit with a complete view across UBS.
• Work with specialists in business, risk, data analytics, and AI.
• Function reports independently to the Board.
• Drive change and generate insights across the firm.

Candidate Requirements

• Penultimate or final year bachelor’s or master’s student.
• On track for at least a 2.1 UK degree or equivalent.
• Hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative values.
• Clear communication skills and ability to explain ideas.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and organized with multiple tasks.
• Integrity, curiosity, commitment, and willingness to learn required.

Preferred Skills and Interests

• Interest in the financial industry; all majors welcome.
• Ability to demonstrate responsible and experimental AI use.
• Examples of leadership, teamwork, or overcoming challenges encouraged.
