About the role

The 2027 Summer Internship places students in UBS’s Group Technology Office in New York or New Jersey. Interns help develop digital products, improve technology services, and strengthen data quality and flows. The 10-week paid program offers mentoring and industry exposure, with potential consideration for UBS’s Graduate Talent Program.

Role and Team

• Work in the Group Technology Office in New York or New Jersey, supporting technology solutions across UBS.
• Potential placements include Technology Engineer, Data Engineer, Technology Support Analyst, or System Analyst Intern.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services for clients and employees.
• Provide transparency across data quality, data flows, and current issues.
• Help ensure applications meet the highest standards.

Program

• Complete a 10-week paid internship involving day-to-day business operations.
• Learn about the financial industry, UBS clients, and the firm from experienced colleagues.
• Receive mentoring and opportunities to meet senior team members.
• Successful interns may receive an offer for the Graduate Talent Program after completing their studies.

Requirements

• Graduate between December 2027 and June 2028 with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, C#, or C++.
• Show strong communication skills, strategic thinking, collaboration, dedication, and trustworthiness.
• Demonstrate interest in the financial industry; students from all majors are welcome.
• Evidence how experimental and responsible use of artificial intelligence can improve outcomes and efficiency.

Eligibility

• A Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM academic background is preferred.
• The position does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship or assistance for OPT or CPT.
