About the role
Join UBS's 2027 Summer Internship in New York within the Global Research & Evidence Lab. Work with alternative data, collaborate globally, and develop skills in data analysis and financial research over 10 weeks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Learn how alternative data informs investment processes.
- Collaborate with researchers, data engineers, and analysts globally.
- Transform large structured and unstructured data into insights.
Team
- Work in UBS Evidence Lab, a sell-side team in New York.
- Create insight-ready datasets from billions of data items monthly.
- Support investment decisions across sectors and regions.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduating between Dec 2027 and June 2028 with GPA 3.0+.
- Strong analytic, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills.
- Fundamental financial statement analysis knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL, R, Python preferred.
