2027 Summer Internship - Financial Advisor - New Jersey

About the role

The 2027 Summer Internship offers students a 10-week paid opportunity to explore financial advising within UBS Wealth Advice Center in New Jersey. Interns learn about financial products, markets, planning, investment strategies, and client relationships while shadowing advisors, contributing to projects, and engaging with senior leaders.

Responsibilities and Experience

• Learn customer service, financial products, markets, financial planning, investment strategies, banking solutions, and wealth management.
• Shadow experienced financial advisors across UBS Wealth Advice Center teams.
• Participate in real-world projects and strategize on key business initiatives.
• Attend educational events led by senior leaders.
• Take part in day-to-day business operations while learning from colleagues and mentors.

Program Details

• The program lasts 10 weeks and is paid.
• Study for and complete the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials exam and/or Series 66 exam.
• Receive mentoring and opportunities to develop skills and build professional contacts.
• Successful interns may receive an offer for the full-time Financial Advisor Development Program after graduation.

• UBS Wealth Advice Center provides personalized advice and guidance to emerging affluent clients.
• The business serves clients remotely by phone through financial advisors and client service associates.
• The position is based in New Jersey, with the business also operating hubs in Dallas and Charlotte.
