About the role
The 36-month Financial Advisor Development Program prepares upcoming and recent graduates to serve Emerging Affluent clients in UBS’s Dallas Wealth Advice Center. Participants receive paid training, gain experience across client service and wealth management, pursue required FINRA licenses and CFP designation, and develop long-term advisory careers.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients by answering calls, managing appointments, conducting outreach, and delivering exceptional service and advice.
- Build client relationships through discovery conversations and identify opportunities for holistic wealth management solutions.
- Use digital planning tools to provide advice on portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment selection.
- Collaborate across UBS to resolve inquiries, follow up on requests, and support positive client outcomes.
- Support front- and back-office operations while following regulatory, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Participate in development workshops, interactive training, live client interactions, and ongoing learning opportunities.
Program and Team
- The Financial Advisor Development Program lasts 36 months and includes professional, technical, and core advisory training.
- The UBS Wealth Advice Center serves more than 200,000 clients through over 400 dedicated professionals nationwide.
- Clients are primarily served by phone through a scalable, relationship-based service model for Emerging Affluent clients.
- New Wealth Advice Center employees must remain in the center for at least three years before internal transfer eligibility.
- The role is based in Dallas, Texas, within UBS Global Wealth Management.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent; all majors are welcome with demonstrated interest in financial services.
- Completed the SIE at least 30 days before joining the program.
- Pass the Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days of starting.
- Demonstrate strong communication, strategic thinking, collaboration, trustworthiness, dedication, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Evidence of responsible and experimental AI use that can improve outcomes and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications and Eligibility
- Preferred academic backgrounds include business administration, wealth management, financial planning, or finance.
- Coursework through a CFP Board Registered Program is preferred.
- Completing Series 66 before starting is highly recommended; Series 63 and Series 65 may substitute.
- The position does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship or support for OPT or CPT.
- Candidates should be curious and motivated to build a career in financial advising.
