About the role

Paid three-to-six-month internship in the Group Technology Office, developing and supporting Java/Spring/Oracle web applications for Client Reviews and financial crime prevention. Based in Zurich or Lausanne, the role includes cloud and GitLab pipeline learning, collaborative engineering, mentoring, and potential consideration for the Graduate Talent Program after studies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop web applications in the Due Diligence space using Java, Spring, and Oracle.
  • Learn how GitLab pipelines work and identify opportunities to improve them.
  • Explore cloud-based applications and differences from traditional applications.
  • Collaborate across locations through pair programming and group projects with senior engineers.
  • Work with cross-functional colleagues to improve digital products.

Team

  • Join the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance Client Reviews team in Zurich or Lausanne.
  • The team develops, enhances, and supports web applications in financial crime prevention.
  • Systems are used daily by thousands of client advisors and Compliance staff.

Program Details

  • Paid internship lasting three to six months, starting 1 February.
  • Work with experts while learning about the industry, clients, and the firm.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations and receive mentoring throughout the internship.
  • Meet senior team members and develop skills through practical experience.
  • A successful internship may lead to an offer for the Graduate Talent Program after studies.

Requirements

  • Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor's degree.
  • Graduated no more than 12 months ago with a bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Minimum GPA of 4.5 under the Swiss grading system.
  • Demonstrate hard work, trustworthiness, dedication, collaboration, strategic thinking, and strong communication.
  • Motivated to work under high demands and tight deadlines.
  • Show how experimental and responsible AI use can improve outcomes and efficiency.
