About the role
Six-month paid internship in UBS’s Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention Data Engineering team, focused on building an agentic testing assistant. You will create privacy-safe test data, generate automated tests and reports, and explore GitHub Copilot integrations while collaborating with engineers, analysts, developers and testing stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and build an agentic testing assistant using data models, engineering standards, technology stacks and production data patterns.
- Create reusable, privacy-safe test datasets reflecting representative distributions, edge cases and data-quality issues.
- Generate unit and functional tests validating transformations across production-like distributions and quality scenarios.
- Produce concise test reports for testing-manager review after developer validation.
- Prototype GitHub Copilot integration using MCP tools, agent skills or other approved agentic components.
Team
- Join the Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention Data Engineering team within the Group Technology Office.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, developers and testing stakeholders on robust, traceable tests.
- Support data transformation solutions used in client review processes while maintaining human validation and engineering quality.
