2027 Graduate Talent Program – AI & Data Engineer – Zurich

About the role

UBS’s 18-month Graduate Talent Program in Zurich offers an AI and Data Engineering opportunity within the Group Technology Office. You will help build an AI-ready Data Mesh for Global Investment Management, develop trusted data products, and collaborate with global engineering, data, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an AI-ready Data Mesh capability for Global Investment Management Discretionary Mandates.
• Develop trusted, documented data products for reporting, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI solutions.
• Define data domains, ownership models, metadata standards, quality controls, and lineage requirements with stakeholders.
• Contribute innovative ideas and perspectives to improve technology and business outcomes.

Team

• Join the Group Technology Office in Zurich as part of a global team.
• Work with colleagues across Switzerland, Poland, and India.
• The team sources, develops, implements, maintains, and supports technology solutions across UBS.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate who completed studies within the last 24 months.
• Complete all degree requirements before the program starts on 1 February 2027.
• Have no more than two years of full-time work experience.
• Hold a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a MINT subject.
• Meet a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 under the Swiss grading system.
• Demonstrate software engineering, data engineering, cloud, modern architecture, and AI-related knowledge or experience.

• The 18-month program includes professional and technical training and Group Technology Office onboarding.
• Develop skills through colleague support, networking, and opportunities to participate in one or more rotations.
• The program is designed to support career development within UBS.
