About the role
Join UBS's 2026 Off-cycle Internship in Zurich as a French language expert focused on translation and terminology management within digital banking. Gain hands-on experience with AI tools and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance multilingual user experiences.
Role Responsibilities
- Translate content from English and German into French, ensuring clear and natural user experiences.
- Shape consistent voice, tone, and terminology across digital products.
- Develop and manage a multilingual terminology database with team collaboration.
- Collaborate with UX writers, localization experts, designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Utilize CAT and AI tools for terminology extraction and validation.
- Focus on translation (50%) and terminology management (40%) with tech innovation tasks.
Team Environment
- Join the software localization team in Zurich focused on UBS Digital Banking.
- Work with passionate language experts to create accessible, intuitive multilingual products.
- Ensure seamless and meaningful user interactions across languages and markets.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed at least 4 semesters of bachelor's degree or graduated within 6 months, preferably in translation or related field.
- Minimum GPA of 4.5 (Swiss grading system).
- Native French speaker with excellent English and German; additional languages a plus.
- Strong localization, editing, and critical evaluation skills.
- Experience with CAT and AI-powered language tools.
- Interest in multilingual terminology and database management, plus programming skills a plus.
