About the role
Six-month paid internship in UBS’s Zurich-based Global Markets Equity Advisory Sales team. You will support institutional client relationships, analyze market trends, develop equity investment ideas, collaborate across investment banking businesses, and explore responsible AI applications while learning from experienced professionals and mentors.
Responsibilities
- Assist equity sales teams in building and nurturing relationships with institutional investors.
- Analyze economic, political, geopolitical, and sociocultural trends affecting financial markets.
- Assess sector dynamics and corporate fundamentals influencing valuations and public-market share prices.
- Create and promote investment ideas using research, data, and flow insights.
- Support investor calls, meetings, conferences, equity transactions, and cross-business collaboration.
- Help improve client delivery, outcomes, and processes through responsible AI deployment.
Team
- Join the Global Markets Equity Advisory Sales team in Zurich’s largest trading floor.
- Advise institutional investors on global equities and support investment decisions from start to finish.
- Work with Wealth Management, Asset Management, Derivatives and Solutions, Prime Brokerage, and Global Banking.
- Collaborate with Equity Capital Markets on equity transactions, including initial public offerings.
