2027 Internship – GWM GFIW BRO Governance and Frameworks

About the role

Six-month paid off-cycle internship in UBS Global Wealth Management’s Business Risk Organization in Zürich, supporting governance, risk frameworks, controls, policy adherence, process improvements, and strategic projects. Candidates need four completed bachelor’s semesters, analytical and communication skills, English proficiency, Microsoft Office expertise, and interest in finance. Starts January or February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to effective risk framework design and operation for current challenges.
• Oversee and execute controls against group-wide and business-owned policies and procedures.
• Identify needs and implement solutions improving existing processes or creating new ones.
• Provide proactive and constructive challenge across all aspects of the role.
• Collaborate with teams on strategic projects improving client experience and engagement.
• Develop understanding of the industry, culture, strategy, and business operations.

Team

• Join the Global Wealth Management Business Risk Organization team in Zürich.
• Support governance, risk frameworks, controls, and risk appetite for UHNW and GFIW businesses.
• Provide expert risk advice supporting sophisticated clients and the GFIW Business Head.

Program

• Work with experts while learning about the industry, clients, firm, and day-to-day operations.
• Build professional skills and contacts through mentors, educational events, and senior team exposure.
• Successful interns may receive an offer for the Graduate Talent Program after completing their studies.
