About the role
Six-month paid internship in UBS Global Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office, supporting Swiss and global real estate research in Zurich. The role involves market analysis, investment ideas, research publications, presentations, strategic projects, and collaboration with teams serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Responsibilities
- Assess trends and developments in the Swiss real estate market.
- Contribute to investment ideas across local and global real estate markets.
- Support flagship real estate studies and research reports.
- Conduct research and data analysis, and prepare presentations and other materials.
- Collaborate with teams on strategic projects improving client experience and engagement.
Team
- Join the Swiss & Global Real Estate team within UBS Global Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office.
- Analyze macroeconomic prospects, risks, and investment opportunities across real estate markets.
- Communicate insights to internal and external clients through publications, presentations, and media appearances.
Program And Development
- Work alongside experts while participating in day-to-day business operations.
- Receive mentoring and attend educational events led by senior leaders.
- Build professional networks with mentors, business contacts, and senior team members.
- Successful interns may receive an offer for UBS’s Graduate Talent Program after completing their studies.
Requirements
- Complete at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree, or have graduated within the last 12 months.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and achieve a minimum Swiss-system GPA of 4.5.
- Demonstrate interest in economics, financial markets, numbers, models, and the financial industry.
- Bring a structured, independent, collaborative, trustworthy, dedicated, and quality-focused working approach.
- Have excellent written and spoken English, plus Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience.
- Evidence experimental and responsible use of AI to improve outcomes and efficiency.
