About the role
Six-month paid internship in Geneva supporting real estate portfolio management across Europe. You will assist with strategy implementation, portfolio analysis, valuations, financing, acquisitions and dispositions while learning about direct real estate solutions, major property sectors and European markets alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Support the Portfolio Manager with direct real estate portfolio strategy implementation across Europe and multiple asset classes.
- Conduct quantitative and performance analysis covering cash flows and investor reporting.
- Provide analytical support for marketing pitches, projects and ad hoc portfolio analyses.
- Perform discounted cash flow, acquisition, property valuation, asset sale and financing analyses.
- Support customized direct real estate solutions for private and institutional clients.
Team
- Join the Geneva-based real estate portfolio management team managing direct real estate products and segregated mandates.
- The team manages approximately 40 assets across continental Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada and APAC.
- Collaborate daily with asset management, transaction and legal teams across European capitals.
Requirements
- Complete at least four semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduate no more than six months ago.
- Demonstrate a strong analytical and financial background, with willingness to develop real estate and market knowledge.
- Show initiative, interest in real estate and willingness to support Portfolio Managers' day-to-day work.
- Demonstrate hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative qualities.
- Have fluent English and good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Show how responsible and experimental use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
