Intern in Asset Servicing - Financial Intermediaries (6 months)

About the role

Six-month Luxembourg internship in UBS Asset Servicing’s Financial Intermediaries team, supporting regulated and unregulated fund structures, custody services, fund projects, and client initiatives. You will build knowledge of fund business, structuring solutions, department processes, systems, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with specialists and supporting legal, AML/KYC, and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Support the Asset Servicing Luxembourg team across fund structures, custody services, and related activities.
• Develop knowledge of fund business, structuring solutions, and value-added services such as securities lending.
• Build understanding of department processes, systems, and business regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and support client projects, including detailed feasibility analysis with relevant specialists.
• Support new fund launches and fund events involving legal, AML/KYC, regulatory, client, and asset manager requirements.

Team

• Join the Asset Servicing department serving UHNW clients through investment fund structures.
• The team provides fund administration, custody, domiciliation, registration, transfer, and paying agent services.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or be completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or Economics.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and sound analytical ability.
• Have good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Be motivated, proactive, independent, hands-on, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Be a collaborative, results-oriented team player who delivers quality work.
• Use Microsoft Office very effectively and apply sound judgment when exploring AI-enabled workflows.
