Role Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory of UBS Art Collection in internal storage.
  • Use Art Plus database to create and update artwork records.
  • Support annual art sales to UBS staff in Zurich.
  • Assist with art installations in Swiss branches.
  • Research artwork provenance, auction prices, and history.

Team Environment

  • Work mainly with the Art Collection team in Zurich storage.
  • Team includes international art professionals and Global Head in New York.
  • Responsible for inventory, care, maintenance, and development of the Collection.
  • Support display of artworks in client and staff areas.
  • Activate Collection through exhibitions, loans, and educational events.

Candidate Requirements

  • Completed at least 4 semesters of bachelor's in art history or similar.
  • Graduated no longer than six months ago with bachelor's or master's.
  • Hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative values.
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
  • Autonomous, diligent, detail-oriented work style.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with art database programs and Photoshop.
  • Excellent German and English skills, written and oral.
  • Comfortable working hands-on in storage facilities.
  • Good communication skills for interacting at all levels.
  • Ability to recognize different art techniques, especially prints.
