About the role
Join UBS as a Werkstudent in Financial Crime Prevention in Frankfurt from Aug 2026 to Jan 2027. Gain practical experience in AML, KYC, fraud risk management, and compliance within an international banking environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support creation and preparation of presentations.
- Analyze and improve existing processes with documentation.
- Conduct evaluations and analyses to assist the team.
- Help prepare money laundering suspicion reports.
- Communicate with external authorities like police and prosecutors.
- Assist in control activities, due diligence, and KYC checks.
Team and Environment
- Part of EMEA Financial Crime Prevention covering AML, sanctions, fraud, and anti-corruption.
- Provide compliance advice ensuring adherence to legal and internal standards.
- Work closely with experienced legal and business professionals.
- Experience a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently studying law, business law, business administration, or related field.
- Interest in financial crime prevention topics.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong teamwork and quick learning ability.
- Independent, structured, and responsible work style.
- Fluent in German and English.
