Internship in Business Acceptance - 6 months

About the role

This six-month Luxembourg internship supports UBS’s Business Acceptance Team within Asset Servicing and Global Wealth Management. The intern handles client inquiries, supports new fund projects, performs compliance and due diligence reviews, and helps bring existing client documentation to a best-in-class standard for institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle clients’ daily inquiries and provide support to the Business Acceptance Team.
• Support the team with new fund projects.
• Perform and support compliance and due diligence reviews.
• Assist with reviewing and documenting existing clients to a best-in-class standard.

Team

• Join the expanding Asset Servicing department’s Business Acceptance Team in Luxembourg.
• Support institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients seeking fund and complex international structure solutions.
• Work within a department offering fund and corporate services through UBS’s international financial capabilities.

Requirements

• Be a university student in at least the third year of studies.
• Specialize in law, compliance, audit, or risk.
• Be a collaborative, proactive, independent, and initiative-taking team player.
• Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to deliver quality results under pressure.
• Be fluent in English.

Additional Assets

• Knowledge of corporate law, AML/CFT law, and fund structures is appreciated.
• Knowledge of Spanish, German, Dutch, Swedish, or Italian is an advantage.
