About the role
Two-week internship in Frankfurt with UBS Global Markets Sales team. Gain hands-on experience in equity sales, market research, client communication, and financial instruments trading.
Role Responsibilities
- Support sales team in preparing research communications and attending equities morning meetings.
- Conduct research on recent market trends and individual stocks.
- Understand market-moving data to inform decisions across Global Markets.
- Learn about sales, trading, and communication with institutional clients.
- Gain exposure to how clients buy and sell equities, currencies, and interest rates.
Team and Environment
- Work within UBS Global Markets business in Frankfurt for two weeks.
- Engage with hedge funds, pension funds, asset managers, and family offices.
- Learn about risk management, client interactions, and product design.
- Collaborate with sales, trading, structuring, and project teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in school and available from 2027-01-25 to 2027-02-05 in Frankfurt.
- Genuine interest in finance and a curious mindset to learn.
- Good communication skills for cross-regional and cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English; other languages advantageous.
