About the role
6-month internship in France assisting portfolio managers with cross-asset analysis, portfolio construction, and financial modeling within UBS Global Wealth Management.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare morning meetings, cross-asset pitches, and macroeconomic points for portfolio managers.
- Produce cross-asset analyses supporting selection of bonds, equities, funds, alternatives, and structured products.
- Analyze and construct portfolios while monitoring risk budgets.
- Develop financial analysis models as needed.
- Contribute to monthly newsletter writing.
Team and Environment
- Join UBS Europe SE Advisory & Sales department, supporting Active Portfolio Advisory team.
- UBS serves private, institutional, and commercial clients globally.
- Operations span wealth management, investment banking, and asset management in France.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in economics, market finance, or asset management.
- Prior finance experience preferred, especially asset management, sell-side research, or trading floor internships.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills required.
- Autonomous, proactive, and committed to UBS process quality and ethics.
- Fluent English mandatory.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office suite.
Additional Skills and Requirements
- Interest in exploring AI applications in work processes with ethical and risk compliance.
- Internship agreement with educational institution required.
