About the role
Six-month internship in Frankfurt supporting UBS Wealth Management’s Financial Intermediaries team from 1 February 2027. The role focuses on institutional client support, fund setup, due diligence, KYC checks, client communications, process improvement, analyses, and projects. Interns gain broad exposure to the fund business and related financial services areas.
Responsibilities
- Support the coverage of institutional clients, with potential direct client contact based on performance.
- Assist with new fund setups, due diligence activities, and KYC checks.
- Prepare professional client communications and support meeting planning and preparation.
- Analyse, develop, and document existing processes, contributing to process improvements.
- Support projects that expand the team’s offering and prepare evaluations and analyses.
- Assist with administrative and organisational tasks in the day-to-day business.
Team and Learning Opportunities
- Work within Financial Intermediaries, supporting professional financial service providers including fund companies, insurers, and banks.
- Gain insight into the fund business from setup through market participant roles to client support.
- Learn about fund structures where UBS Europe SE acts as the custodian.
- Explore related areas including client acquisition, the trading desk, custody, business management, and external asset managers.
