About the role

Six-month Asset Servicing internship in the GFIW LATAM team in Luxembourg, supporting regulated and unregulated fund structures, custody services, client projects, and fund events. The role offers exposure to fund administration, legal, AML/KYC, regulatory requirements, structuring solutions, securities lending, and workflow optimisation using AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Asset Servicing Luxembourg team across fund structures, custody services, and related activities.
  • Develop knowledge of fund business, structuring solutions, and value-added services such as securities lending.
  • Coordinate client projects, including detailed feasibility analyses involving appropriate specialists.
  • Support new fund launches and fund events across legal, AML/KYC, regulatory, client, and asset manager requirements.
  • Build knowledge of department processes, systems, and business regulatory requirements.

Team

  • Join the Asset Servicing GFIW department, serving UHNW clients through investment fund structures.
  • The department provides fund administration, custody, domiciliation, registration, transfer, and paying agent services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or final-stage Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies in Law or Economics.
  • A school or university internship agreement is mandatory, and the internship must form part of studies.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge and experience with AI tools.
  • Driven, motivated, proactive, independent, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Team-oriented, results-focused, and able to work under pressure while delivering quality results.
