Internship in Asset Servicing GFIW EU team - 6 months

About the role

Six-month internship in UBS Asset Servicing GFIW in Luxembourg, supporting regulated and unregulated fund structures, custody services, and related activities. The role offers exposure to fund business, structuring solutions, securities lending, department processes, and regulatory requirements, while coordinating client and fund projects involving legal, AML/KYC, and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Asset Servicing Luxembourg team across fund structures, custody services, and related activities.
• Develop knowledge of fund business, structuring solutions, and value-added services such as securities lending.
• Learn department processes, systems, and applicable business regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate client projects, including detailed feasibility analyses with relevant specialists.
• Support new fund launches and fund events involving legal, AML/KYC, regulatory, client, and asset-manager requirements.

Team

• Join Asset Servicing GFIW, serving ultra-high-net-worth clients through fund administration, custody, domiciliation, registration, transfer, and paying-agent services.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or final-stage Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in Law or Economics.
• Strong attention to detail and sound analytical focus.
• Good interpersonal, organisational, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Proactive, independent, motivated, hands-on, and initiative-taking approach.
• Result-oriented, able to work under pressure and deliver quality results.
• Very good Microsoft Office knowledge and experience with AI tools, using sound judgment and policy alignment.
