Intern in Asset Servicing - Financial Intermediaries (6 months)

About the role

Six-month internship in UBS’s Luxembourg Asset Servicing team, supporting regulated and unregulated fund structures, custody services, client projects, and fund events. The role offers exposure to fund business, structuring solutions, securities lending, operational processes, systems, and legal, AML/KYC, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Asset Servicing Luxembourg team across fund structures, custody services, and related activities.
• Coordinate client projects, including detailed feasibility analyses with appropriate specialists.
• Support new fund launches and fund events involving legal, AML/KYC, and regulatory aspects.
• Consider client requirements and the needs of appointed asset managers.
• Build knowledge of fund processes, systems, structuring solutions, and securities lending services.

Team

• Work within Asset Servicing, serving UHNW clients using investment fund structures.
• The department provides fund administration, custody, domiciliation, registration, transfer, and paying agent services.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or final-stage Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or Economics.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, analytical focus, and strong organizational and communication skills.
• Be motivated, proactive, independent, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Work effectively in a team and manage time while delivering quality results.
• Have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Show curiosity about improving workflows with AI while validating outputs and following policies, risk standards, and ethical-use requirements.
