Global Family and Institutional Wealth (GFIW) Intern - 6 months

About the role

Six-month internship in UBS Global Wealth Management’s Global Family and Institutional Wealth team in Luxembourg. The intern supports client advisors serving institutional family office clients through client service, meeting preparation, presentations, investment proposals, administrative activities, and strategic projects while gaining exposure to wealth management and investment banking collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support client advisors in delivering high-quality customer service and client experiences.
• Prepare and follow up on prospect and client meetings.
• Prepare presentations and investment proposals.
• Assist with administrative, legal, compliance, and risk-related tasks.
• Prepare strategic and project-related topics and participate in project groups.
• Act as a contact for business partners and internal departments.

Team

• GFIW is a joint venture between UBS Global Wealth Management and UBS Investment Bank.
• The team serves institutional family office clients requiring wealth management and investment banking capabilities.
• The role is based in the GFIW team in Luxembourg.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in university studies in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Provide a mandatory school or university internship agreement integral to the studies.
• Demonstrate teamwork, fast learning ability, flexibility, reliability, and sociability.
• Have previous internships in the financial sector and good analytical skills.
• Have strong MS Office skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently.
• Use sound judgment when exploring AI workflows, validating outputs, and following policies, risk standards, and ethical requirements.
