About the role
Six-month paid internship in UBS Global Wealth Management Switzerland’s Executives and Entrepreneurs team in Bern. The role supports client advisors serving wealthy private individuals with entrepreneurial backgrounds, while offering exposure to wealth management, project coordination, business development, client service, mentoring, and potential progression to the Graduate Talent Program after studies.
Responsibilities
- Build understanding of the wealth management industry, firm culture, and business strategy.
- Support client advisors with daily activities focused on improving client satisfaction.
- Coordinate projects with stakeholders while developing project management and business development knowledge.
Team
- Join the Executives and Entrepreneurs team based in Bern.
- Work with client advisors across branches throughout the canton of Bern, supported by a Bern city hub.
- Serve wealthy private individuals with entrepreneurial backgrounds.
Program
- Work alongside experts and participate in day-to-day business operations.
- Receive mentoring and opportunities to meet senior team members.
- Develop skills, build contacts, and learn about clients, the industry, and the firm.
- Successful interns may be considered for the Graduate Talent Program after completing their studies.
Requirements
- Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree.
- Graduated no more than 12 months ago with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Achieved a minimum GPA of 4.5 under the Swiss grading system.
- Demonstrate strong communication, strategic thinking, collaboration, dedication, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic.
- Be motivated to work in a demanding business with tight deadlines.
- Show how responsible, experimental AI use can improve outcomes and efficiency.
Additional Criteria
- Excellent command of German is required.
- All academic majors are welcome, with an interest in the financial industry.
- Applicants should be curious and able to explain achievements demonstrating relevant skills.
