Internship 2026, UBS Europe SE Financial and Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Six-month Finance internship with UBS Europe SE Financial Reporting in Frankfurt. You will support daily banking activities, regulatory reporting, internal projects, process improvements, policies, reporting frameworks, and strategic initiatives while gaining exposure to Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Treasury, and Asset Management.

Responsibilities

• Support daily run-the-bank activities alongside internal projects.
• Investigate, analyze, and improve process setups.
• Help develop and review policies, guidelines, and reporting frameworks.
• Support ongoing and ad hoc strategic initiatives and projects.
• Help prepare regulatory reports for UBS Europe SE.

Team and Development

• Join the UBS Europe SE Financial Reporting team in Frankfurt.
• Gain insight into day-to-day finance operations across several business areas.
• Participate in various training modules and networking opportunities.
• Work directly in daily operations from the start of the internship.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree obtained within the last six months, or be nearing study completion.
• Have some prior experience in finance.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including big-data analysis and presenting outcomes.
• Possess conceptual and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Be proactive, hands-on, and able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German.

Technical Skills

• Proficient Excel skills are required.
• Python, VBA, SQL, or similar tools are advantageous.
