2027 Graduate Talent Program – Internal Audit – Opfikon

About the role

Join UBS’s 18-month Internal Audit Graduate Talent Program in Zurich, starting February 2027. You will assess risks, test controls, evaluate governance frameworks, and identify improvements across the firm while developing banking, technical, analytical, and professional skills through training, colleague support, networking, and potential rotations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess risks across different areas of the firm.
• Test key controls through interviews, process and product reviews, and transaction analysis.
• Evaluate control effectiveness and whether processes operate as intended.
• Assess governance and control frameworks supporting risk management and strategic goals.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen risk management and improve firm processes.

Team and Development

• Join Group Internal Audit, an independent function safeguarding and strengthening UBS.
• Work with business, subject matter, data analytics, and artificial intelligence specialists.
• Complete professional, technical, and core banking training at program commencement.
• Develop skills through colleagues, networking opportunities, and one or more rotations.
• Program duration is 18 months, starting 1 February 2027.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate who completed graduation requirements by the program start date.
• Have graduated within the previous 24 months and have no more than two years’ full-time experience.
• Achieve a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 under the Swiss grading system.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, strategic thinking, strong communication, organization, and adaptability.
• Show integrity, curiosity, commitment, collaboration, dedication, and willingness to learn.
• Demonstrate responsible and experimental use of artificial intelligence to improve outcomes and efficiency.
