About the role
Join UBS's 2027 Off-Cycle Internship as an AI Specialist in Singapore. Build and deploy AI applications that enhance workflows across the bank, working with cutting-edge generative AI techniques and collaborating with global teams.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents to automate and improve UBS workflows.
- Apply generative AI techniques like prompt engineering and RAG.
- Map and redesign business workflows around AI agents.
- Use no-code, low-code, and pro-code platforms for AI development.
- Iterate on agent quality through testing and refinement.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to deploy AI solutions.
Team Environment
- Join UBS's Chief AI Office or Group Technology Office.
- Work on firm-wide AI transformation projects.
- Develop standardized AI tools and platforms used bank-wide.
- Collaborate globally with teams aligned to key business areas.
- Focus on solving real business problems with AI.
- Based in Singapore with global team connections.
Candidate Requirements
- Available to defer studies and graduate between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
- Pursuing degree in computer science, AI, data science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of generative AI building blocks and agentic AI.
- Programming skills in Python and experience with APIs and AI frameworks.
- Ability to redesign business processes around AI automation.
- Responsible AI mindset with focus on security and data quality.
