About the role

CA Intern opportunity in Pune’s Treasury Reporting and Analytics team, supporting Group and Regional Treasury through accurate monthly reporting, financial analysis, statements, controls, and regulatory compliance. The role covers balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and funding information used by senior management, regulators, and Group Executive Board stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics for Group and legal entities.
• Compile and analyze financial information for Group and Regional Treasury.
• Prepare monthly Group Treasury and Regional Treasury reporting packs.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for the business and external auditors.
• Improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of financial controls.
• Confirm compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Team

• Join the Reporting and Analytics Service Executive Treasury reporting team in Pune.
• Support management decision-making related to Group Treasury optimization.
• Provide accurate, timely, and consistent reporting to senior bank stakeholders.
• Monthly reporting is published to regulators and Group Executive Board members.
• Key stakeholders include the Group CFO and Group Treasurer.

Requirements

• Higher accounting degree or professional qualification.
• Understanding of bank balance sheets, liquidity, funding, or capital adequacy concepts.
• Knowledge of LCR, NSFR, stress testing, RWA, and LRD concepts.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Access.
• Reliable and collaborative working style.
• Experience developing robust financial controls for a global business.
