About the role

CA Intern, Cost Management, supporting Group Finance in Pune through cost analysis, forecasting, financial planning, reconciliations, management reporting, and process improvements. The role offers practical experience within a global CFO organisation, applying accounting knowledge while developing analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills alongside experienced finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Group Finance costs and headcount, explaining variances across forecasts, estimates, and actuals.
• Assist with financial planning, forecasting, and the Three-Year Strategic Planning process.
• Analyse cost allocations, capitalisation, amortisation, and other key cost drivers.
• Transform large financial datasets into meaningful analysis and management information.
• Perform reconciliations across financial systems and reports to support data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, financial insights, and support performance-management activities.

Team and Development

• Join the Group Finance Chief of Staff team within the Group CFO organisation in Pune.
• Support cost transparency, allocation governance, financial planning, and management reporting across Group Finance.
• Contribute to reporting enhancements, automation, standardisation, and finance process improvements.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and business stakeholders across different teams.
• Gain practical exposure to cost management, forecasting, financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
• Develop analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills in a global finance environment.
