CA Intern

About the role

As a CA Intern in UBS’s Investment Banking Product Control team, you will support daily and monthly P&L and balance sheet production. Responsibilities include reconciliations, control attestations, commentary, month-end book closure, journal posting, balance sheet substantiation, and responding to stakeholder queries.

Responsibilities

• Perform T0 versus T1 checks and provide commentary on mark-to-market P&L and market drivers.
• Review RSBPL scallops and reconcile source data to the ledger, resolving identified breaks.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment, including control attestations and supporting evidence.
• Manage ad hoc queries from front office, COO, and financial or product controllers.
• Provide daily balance sheet commentary based on relevant business drivers.
• Close books during month-end, clear breaks, explain material P&L movements, and post journals.

• Join the Investment Banking Product Control team.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or internal control areas, from zero to three years.
• Very good written and spoken English, with good Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with people at all levels.
• Team-oriented approach and a record of meeting deadlines.
