Software Engineering Full-Time Campus Hire (Houston)

About the role

Full-time software engineering opportunity for students joining Two Sigma’s general engineering program. Engineers design and build scalable technology supporting data analysis, quantitative strategies, trading systems, cloud environments, and corporate productivity. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional programming, large-scale systems experience, analytical ability, and a passion for quality software.

Role and Responsibilities

• Join a general Software Engineering role and match with a specific team two to three months before starting.
• Build infrastructure supporting distributed storage, public and private cloud environments, and other engineering teams.
• Ensure the reliability of mission-critical products and systems, including the main trading system.
• Develop tools and environments for testing and deploying quantitative strategies, also known as models.
• Build low-latency trading infrastructure and scale systems ingesting data from more than 10,000 daily sources.
• Partner with corporate teams to develop tools, systems, and products that improve organizational productivity and efficiency.
