About the role
3Red Partners seeks a 2027 graduate for a full-time Graduate Trader role in Chicago or Amsterdam. The role involves working with senior traders and developers on automated trading systems, market analysis, and system improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitor open positions and executions on latency-sensitive automated trading systems.
- Review trading system performance and adjust trades based on market conditions.
- Manually trade to reduce risk when necessary.
- Provide feedback on performance and communicate post-trade analysis.
- Contribute to all trading desk activities and market event analysis.
- Help develop and improve trading systems, track issues, and fix bugs.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in STEM field, graduating by August 2027.
- Proven track record in strategic games like poker, chess, or esports.
- Interest in trading demonstrated through internships or projects.
- Ability to maintain focus under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coding in Python and reviewing data sets.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
