Programme Details

  • 10-week summer internship starting June 2027 in Shanghai.

Teams and Responsibilities

  • Corporate Coverage: Support multinational and local corporate client relationships and financing solutions.
  • Financial Institutions Coverage: Assist banks, insurers, asset managers with financing and risk management.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Support research, analysis, and deal execution for transactions.
  • Work alongside experienced bankers on client relationships and business development.
  • Gain insight into capital markets, transaction banking, and strategic client engagement.
  • Develop understanding of long-term client relationship management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Penultimate year student eligible to intern in June 2027 and start full-time July 2028.
  • Permanent legal right to work in China required.
  • Open to all degree disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, stay curious, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across cultures.

Application and Timeline

  • Assessment centres begin October 2026.
  • Internship start date June 2027.
  • Only one application allowed per six-month period.
