About the role
This 12-month apprenticeship in Mumbai offers 2026 college graduates hands-on responsibility within Standard Chartered’s Global Support Functions. Apprentices build technical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities while supporting finance, risk, governance, compliance and corporate activities, using data and technology to improve processes and gaining exposure to experienced colleagues and senior leaders.
Programme

Responsibilities and Development
- Develop technical, analytical and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.

- Strengthen communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Learn from experienced colleagues and gain exposure to senior leaders.
About the Team
- Global Support Functions help the Bank operate effectively, responsibly and at scale across global markets.
- Teams support governance, risk management, financial performance and regulatory compliance.
- Functions include finance, risk, legal and corporate activities that support decisions, strategy and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate from college in 2026 and have the legal right to work in India.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance and active involvement beyond the classroom.
- Be confident working with data and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Be detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate integrity, responsibility, curiosity and motivation to learn and contribute.
- No prior banking experience is required.
