Join Squarepoint as a Junior Software Developer working with C++ to build high-performance trading systems impacting critical trading operations across London, Montreal, and Singapore.
Role Overview
- Develop low latency, high performance systems in C++ for critical trading paths.
- Design and implement trading frameworks and centralized services processing large data volumes.
- Work on high-volume distributed applications impacting daily trading operations.
- Collaborate in a collegiate environment pushing software performance boundaries.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or software-focused degree.
- Up to 4 years experience in software or quant development or similar roles.
- Proficient in C++, git, and Linux environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to learn new technologies and develop continuously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Nice to Have
- Degree emphasis on low-level systems programming or high performance computing.
- Experience with KDB+/q or Python programming languages.
- Background in investment or financial business environments.
