Role Overview

• Develop and maintain performance-sensitive, scalable back-end trading systems.
• Collaborate in small teams to design production-grade trading and research software.
• Engage in continuous learning and development in a collegiate environment.

Development Tracks

• Python: Build scalable services, full-stack apps, and data processing tools.
• C++: Develop low-latency, high-performance distributed trading systems.
• Front-End: Create React web applications enhancing user experience and data access.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core tooling, libraries, and frameworks for global use.
• Contribute to data-driven applications supporting predictive models.
• Design trading frameworks, market data solutions, and global connectivity.
• Develop dashboards for real-time data and support trading workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or software-focused degree.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, KDB+/q, or JavaScript/TypeScript/React.
• Experience in software development via work or personal projects.
• Knowledge of Linux and version control systems.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in multiple core programming languages.
• Experience in hedge fund or finance industry.
• Experience with git and Linux.

Compensation & Benefits

• Minimum base salary $100,000 in New York, with discretionary bonuses.
