Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate risks in discretionary trading strategies.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders on strategy analysis.
• Ensure strategies operate within risk limits set by the Investment Committee.
• Analyze portfolio-level risk and performance drivers.
• Assist in trade portfolio construction for discretionary business.
• Enhance Squarepoint's risk framework and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in quantitative or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Up to 3 years of commercial experience from graduate level.
• Interest in risk management and quantitative approaches.
• Ability to collaborate with trading, analysts, and quants teams.
• Strong communication skills for global teamwork.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Minimum base salary $125,000 in New York.
• Eligible for discretionary bonuses, potentially significant.
