About the role
Warsaw-based software development internship for penultimate-year students passionate about technology. Interns work with experienced engineers and mentors on impactful projects supporting systematic investing and active trading, with opportunities across data engineering, risk, market data, quantitative development, frontend, and other technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver custom software solutions addressing complex problems in collaboration with experienced engineers.
- Complete independent programming projects using Python or C++.
- Build software leveraged to support active and ongoing trading across markets.
Program Experience
- Participate in fast-paced training covering technical facets of software development within algorithmic trading.
- Work with mentors on a project that has visible business impact.
- Attend intern social events and network with Squarepoint employees.

- Internship opportunities may include Data Engineering, Risk, Market Data, Quantitative Development, and Frontend.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent subject.
- Currently in the penultimate year of study.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, C++, Java, Rust, or C.
- Knowledge of Unix systems.
- Demonstrated passion for technology, exceptional problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
