About the role

Join Squarepoint as a Shift Trader to support 24/7 trading supervision across Singapore, London, and Dubai. Manage risk, oversee trading operations, and improve workflows through automation in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

• Support 24/7 supervision of trading activities and operational processes.
• Manage risk, trade oversight, and incident response.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate monitoring and trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time exposures and raise alerts as needed.
• Execute hedging actions and monitor profit, loss, and risk metrics.
• Oversee systematic trading strategies and respond to alerts.
• Perform ad-hoc hedging, booking, and support special initiatives.
• Monitor market-making activities and support new product trading.
• Streamline workflows using scripting and automation.

Additional Oversight

• Manage lifecycle tasks like position rolls and option expirations.
• Respond rapidly to risk limit breaches and liaise with counterparties.
• Support near round-the-clock trading including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field.
• Proficiency in Python; KDB knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for global collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
