About the role
This January–April 2027 paid internship/co-op places students on a team of technical generalists and bankers in Toronto. Business Analysts analyze requirements, document processes, consolidate information into recommendations, and improve processes. The Velocity Program offers training, coaching, networking, and potential future placements across Scotiabank and Tangerine.
Responsibilities
- Work with technical generalists and bankers to deliver clean, effective solutions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements; create diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation.
- Consolidate information into actionable recommendations supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements while experimenting and learning.
