About the role

Winter 2027 co-op/internship supporting Global Transaction Banking strategy within Commercial Banking. The role offers hands-on experience in strategic initiatives, business planning, performance reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional projects while developing analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills in a client-focused banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic initiatives through research, analysis, project coordination, and implementation.
  • Analyze business performance, metrics, and trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Support business planning, reporting, and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Review processes and operating models, contributing ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate across Global Transaction Banking and Commercial Banking to support business outcomes and client-focused solutions.
  • Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities and decisions.

About the Team

  • Global Transaction Banking provides cash management, payments, liquidity, trade, and working capital solutions.
  • The team helps commercial and corporate clients optimize cash flow and manage operational risk.
  • The role supports strategic priorities and business performance across cross-functional banking teams.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, management, economics, marketing, communications, public policy, or related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills and consistent professionalism.
  • Client-centric, collaborative, organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Intellectually curious, flexible, accountable, and eager to learn about Commercial Banking.
