Velocity - Data Engineer Internship/Co-Op - Fall 2026

Role Responsibilities
- Perform data exploration and model training on various data sources.
- Operationalize advanced analytics models following bank standards.
- Automate data pipelines and trigger business process actions.
- Enable monitoring mechanisms for model performance.
- Monitor model runtime and optimize with Data Scientists.

Skills and Technologies
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hive, HDFS, Sqoop, Spark.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge of MinIO Data Storage, Airflow, Trino.
- Proficiency in DB2, SQL Server, Python, R, Bash, Korn shell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools: BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory.
